Press Release Body: 11 August, 2008 Online shopping company Indiaplaza.in (formerly Fabmall.com) has announced the shortlisted books for the inaugural Indiaplaza Golden Quill Awards, an annual award to honour Indian author of fiction. The winners are expected to be announced in the last week of August 2008. The books that have made it to the shortlist are Above Average by Amitabha Bagchi, A Girl And A River by Usha K R, If God Was A Banker by Ravi Subramanian, Naked In The Wind by Brinda Charry and The Sugar Baron'S Daughter by Lovelee Kacker. The shortlisted books will now be evaluated by a jury consisting of Mark Tully, Anita Nair and Shanta Gokhale to determine the Critics' Choice Award. Apart from this, there will also be a Reader's Choice Award determined by book lovers who can register their choice through online voting that will end on August 20, 2008.
